Wurm Unlimited is perhaps Wayfarer’s favorite game of all time. The game is deep and rich in content. It is a survival game with both PVP and PVE modes. Wayfarer’s Wurm Unlimited Server is a PVE mode server that is public and password protected for Wurm Unlimited players of all ability levels. The world is based on the creative map that comes witht he game, with some customizations and settings change that Wayfarer has implemented to make the gaming experience better. There are 5 spawn points where players can randomly spawn into. As the GM, Wayfarer can help players to connect with each other and play in groups in different locations should they desire. Players can go off and found their own deeds to create homesteads, towns, and villages. The world is huge and there is plenty of space for those who wish to play in groups or play alone.
There are no real-world money costs for joining and playing on the server. In-game money is earned through in-game interractions.

Episode 001 – Introduction and Wurm Tutorial
Wayfarer hosts a Wurm Unlimited server for the purpose of playing the game, teaching the game, and inviting other people to enjoy the Wurm Unlimited experience. In this first episode, Wayfarer introduces himself, the server, and some of the philosophy behind Wayfarer’s Wurm Unlimited Server. Additionally, this episode takes one through the basics of Wurm by using the Wurm Unlimited tutorial that opens up when one first logs into the game. This tour is designed to make the learning of Wurm Online and Wurm Unlimited easier. The video covers a good many topics in the basics of Wurm and how to get started in the game.
Episode 002 – Digging a Mine & Other Basics
Digging a mine is a necessary rite of passage in Wurm. One will need to acce ores for the crafting of many items. It takes a while to dig a mine, but using some techniques shown in this video will be very helpful in saving time and making the whole process easier. As always, there is a lot of other information in this video that is concerned with starting off in the game.
Episode 003 – Basic Mining, Basic Farming, and Other Stuff
This episode starts out with mining as the chief mission. It is time to find iron and it is a an essential resource to find early on. Wayfarer dug down to open up a mine in the previous episode, and now it is time to mine out passageways in search for iron. Wayfarer shows how to make an organized effort in finding iron as quickly as possible (quick for Wurm that is). He shows how the prospecting skill can be utilized to find the ores that you are looking for. Additionally, while working on mining, Wayfarer keeps working on other skills by multi-tasking, which leads him to introduce basic farming skills, and more uses for those items that you find when foraging and botanizing.
Episode 004 – Basic Tools, Small Barrels, and Carts
In this episode, Wayfarer continues his multi-tasking approach to crafting and skilling. His main missions are to make small barrels, some basic tools that are useful early on, a small cart, and a large cart for storing and transporting items and resources. He covers a lot of ground in this episode, so it is a must watch for beginning Wurm players.
Episode 005 – Exploring & Adventuring Part 1
Wayfarer has decided that it is time to explore the land around him. As he enters the world at night, he works on some preparations. When the daylight comes, he goes out and explores the island that he is on in order to find a piece of land to establish his deed. He finds perfect ground for building a homestead, and envisions a settlement where he can have a mine of his own, raise animals, grow food, and have a pretty nice house. After this, he explores more of the island that he is living on. He encounters several huge spiders, a wildcat, and a black wolf. The world is certainly a dangerous place. Wayfarer necessarily needs to begin his fighting skills and combat training.
Episode 006 – Exploring & Adventuring Part 2
After the black wolf attack that suddenly ended the first part of this overall episode, Wayfarer recovers and heals himself. He finds himself lost in the wilderness and without his favorite horse. He employs his Wurm knowledge and carefully goes around the circumference of the large island that he is on. He engages in combat when necessary, heals himself when necessary, and continues forward to try and find his way back to the deed. Will he make it?
Episode 007 – Preparing to Leave the Starter Area
In previous episodes, Wayfarer has found an area where he wants to found his deed. While it is nearby, he wants to do a few preparations before moving over. In this episode, he also shows some skills that are important for early players. One topic of importance is dealing with hunger and thirst and how to be ready for when the first 24 hours of gameplay end and the newbie benefits go away. Additionally, he shows how packed dirt and cultivated dirt tiles differ. he shows how to plant grass as well as steppe. He also demonstrates how to work with clay and make pottery.
Episode 008 – Preparing the Deed Location
In this episode, Wayfarer goes to the land where he wants to start his deed. While he is thwarted by his own mistake in interpretation, he begins the terraforming of his deed, which is continued in the next episode. This episode demonstrates a lot of deed planning skills as well as terraforming skills in Wurm.
Episode 009 – Founding & Terraforming the Deed
Wayfarer has finally earned enough money in Wurm to found his deed. He goes ahead and does it. He then begins working on the terraforming and digging that is necessary to make the deed that he envisions. While he does not complete the entire task, far from it, he is able to demonstrate some important terraforming techniques in Wurm that will allow one to save some time in shaping the land. His goal is to make roads between the top of his deed, his mine, and the dock he plans to build on the shore at the bottom. Management of dirt, digging in efficient ways, climbing, and terraforming are all explored in this episode.
Episode 010 – Leveling, Walling Off, and Mining Out the Deed
Wayfarer is terraforming his deed, exploring his mine, and creating animal enclosures for his horses. Having just found another attractive horse, Wayfarer has special urgency in creating a horse pen. He demonstrates in a succinct manner how to level and flatten land efficiently, how to plant thatch as good feeding grass, and explores his mine for some resources. I wonder what he will find?
Episode 011 – Improvements in Storage & Cooking
It is now winter time on Wayfarer’s Wurm Unlimited Server. This being said, Wayfarer gives everyone a tour of his progress. He is struggling to find iron in the mine, but has scraped together enough to craft some small creates and a good storage bin. He has been able to make some cooking utensils, and in showing how to make an oven he hopes to improve his nutrition so that he has to east less often.
Episode 012 – Jewelrysmithing & Making Money
Wayfarer engages in some jewelry making in order to earn some money by selling some golden rings to the merchant. It has been a long haul, but he has finally earned enough money to buy a Rod of Transmutation so that he can have a conveniently located iron vein in his deed mine. This episode shows the basics of Jewelrysmithing, how to make rings, how to make chains, how to make a pendulum, and how to trade with the merchant.
